BORNIT® Harnesses the Power of the Sun!

A New Milestone in Our Sustainability Strategy

New Warehouse, New Energy: PV System Successfully Commissioned

With the commissioning of a new photovoltaic system on the roof of the warm storage hall completed last year, BORNIT® is making a strong statement for sustainability and environmental responsibility.

160,000 kWh of Solar Power – For a Better Carbon Footprint

The modern PV system has a capacity of around 180 kWp and will generate approximately 160,000 kWh of eco-friendly electricity per year – the majority of which will be used directly on-site. This allows BORNIT® to reduce its CO₂ emissions by about 100 tons annually and significantly improve its carbon footprint.

A Clear Commitment to Sustainable Development

“The commissioning of this system marks a significant milestone for our company,” says Frank Metzner, Managing Director of BORNIT®. “It clearly reflects our commitment to sustainable development and active environmental protection. We are proud to contribute to the energy transition while continuing to improve our energy efficiency.”

Step by Step Toward a Sustainable Future

With innovative solutions like this photovoltaic system, BORNIT is consistently advancing its sustainability strategy. The goal is to continuously expand the use of renewable energies and reduce dependence on fossil fuels. The new PV system represents another important step on this path.

Conclusion

With the successful commissioning of the new photovoltaic system, BORNIT® once again underscores its responsibility toward the environment and society. Investing in renewable energy is not only a key contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions, but also a clear signal of forward-thinking action. As an innovative company, BORNIT® is firmly committed to sustainability – efficiently, responsibly, and with future generations in mind.
